Lightning Fast Google Rankings in Olympic Record Breaking Time

Short Track Speed Skater Going for the GoldGetting Google rankings is essential to receiving highly qualified and targeted traffic.

Many webmasters don’t like to wait and want lightning fast results.

In the speed and spirit of the Winter Olympics, this post will discuss fast indexing and Google rankings done in record-breaking time.

Introduction

It was less than a couple of nights ago when I was watching the closing ceremonies for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.

The games were over, the incredible hockey game between the U.S. and Canada decided, and there I am, going through withdrawals. :D

“More sports, more snowboarding, more something — don’t leave now — I was just getting into it!”

The Winter Games are my favorite by far and the Vancouver games were tops.

Something got me really fired up about these Olympics more than any others.

So obviously, I’m looking forward to the Sochi 2014 Games four years from now.

As the closing ceremonies were playing on in the background at around 11:15 p.m. PST, I got an itch decided to create a content site that would report on news for the Sochi 2014 Games in Russia.

With over two billion people viewing the opening ceremonies, there is obviously some global interest and high traffic demands (and memorabilia is the monetization angle).

I also thought to myself and challenged myself to get the site not only indexed within 24 hours, but get keyword phrase rankings before the 24 hour period was up.

I’m talking break-neck speed here.

Some webmasters and beginners that literally can’t even get their site indexed in Google, let alone get a keyword phrase ranking.

The Setup and the Target

Those who know me well know that I never setup any website or business without first setting the target.

Sure, I’ve got my 24 hour deadline, but what is the keyword phrase going to be.

So I decided to challenge myself with a very HOT trending word:
