I tried uploading videos as well — FUTILE! The only thing that works is putting up a web cam and doing it that way. If anything a cheap web cam will do it — like a logitech — well worth it for the technique.

It's very tough to say without actually looking at the actual niche itself to evaluate that. However, I would say for say 1m competition in Google with NO quotes to rank on 1st page of Google — one week per keyword!

Average keyword with 30K searches — that's like saying that you ACTUALLY KNOW the keywords will yield those results.

Unfrotuantely, when you say 30K searches from the data on the net — which is not entirely accurate — even Google's — that means that you are looking at 8,000 searches a month if that. But still, I would say around a week to two weeks of complete barrage.

Wayne, could you forward to me the thing that says this about the forum. What forum are we talking about? Oh — if you are talking about Netflix Forums, that has NOTHING to do with LGMSH 2 — it has to do with a web 2.0 site.

Jim, three things…

1. thanks for admonishing the spam-style posters, and I hope they do listen and adjust.
2. I did one post for a domain that is parked, and after 5 days, it got on page 1 of google…so this does work very well.
3. I posted once on ****** it didn't post my video, and now anytime I post to seesmic, it never seems to publish, just uploads and hangs. I've used 3 browsers, 5 different codecs to make the video (the latest shockwave is now crashing firefox, and in ie and chrome, it is shockwave that crashes, so my webcam is useless now).
